Founding member terms
These terms apply when you pay for a Granted & Ready membership. They're short on purpose. If anything's unclear, message us before you pay.
Granted & Ready is a trading name of Syed Murtaza Raza, 29 Halifax Road, Rochdale OL12 9BD ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected].
1. Who can join
Membership is for tradespeople and building businesses buying it for their work (sole traders, partnerships and companies). It isn't a consumer service.
2. What you get
- A list of council-approved householder building projects in the trade(s) and postcode areas we agree with you. It's sent to you by WhatsApp or email, as you prefer (PDF, and a spreadsheet if you ask), at least once a week. When online member accounts open, your lists will be there too.
- For each project, where available: the address, what's approved, the approval date, the trades it needs, a rough job size, a Street View link, the council's own page, and the agent or architect.
- Our guide, How to win these jobs, and help with your letters if you ask.
The number of projects depends on what councils approve in your area, so it changes from week to week. Approval doesn't mean a project will go ahead, or that you'll win the work, and we can't promise either. Job sizes are rough guides by project type, not quotes.
3. Price and payment
- Founding price: £29 a month, or £290 a year. It stays the same for as long as you remain a member without a break. After the founding places in an area are taken, new members pay £39 a month or £390 a year.
- Payment is taken by card through Stripe, in advance, monthly or yearly.
- We're not VAT registered, so no VAT is added. If that changes, we'll tell you at least 30 days before, and you can cancel.
4. Cancelling and refunds
- Cancel any time by messaging us on WhatsApp or by email. We'll confirm in writing.
- 14-day refund: if you cancel within 14 days of your first payment, we'll refund it in full.
- After that, cancelling stops the next payment. You keep receiving lists until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't give partial refunds for the rest of a month or year, unless the law requires it.
- If we stop the service, we'll refund the unused part of any period you've paid for.
5. How you may use the leads
You must follow our Lead Use rules (https://grantedandready.co.uk/legal/lead-use), which form part of these terms. In short: write by post to "The Owner/Occupier" or approach the agent on the plans; never cold-call, email, text or message homeowners from the list; don't share or resell it; stop if someone says no and tell us within 48 hours; remove any address we tell you has opted out.
You use the addresses as an independent data controller, so you're responsible for how you use them. Delete them when you leave, or after 18 months at the latest.
If you break these rules, we may suspend or end your membership straight away without a refund.
6. Our responsibilities
We take reasonable care to keep the lists accurate and on time, but the information comes from public council records and can contain mistakes or change after we send it. Always check the council page before relying on details.
Our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to what you paid us in those 12 months. We aren't liable for lost profits or lost work. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit (for example for fraud, or death or injury caused by negligence).
7. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll tell you at least 30 days before any change that affects you, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
8. Complaints and law
Complaints: https://grantedandready.co.uk/legal/complaints. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute.
